The Real Deal: Everything you need to know about being a Table Games Dealer.
Not only is a career as a Table Games Dealer very rewarding, it’s also a great deal of fun! At Riverwalk Casino, Table Games Dealers are always in the center of the action, right on the gaming floor. They primarily deal cards for popular games such as blackjack, but are also responsible for helping with other exciting table games including craps and roulette.
The Dealer regularly interacts with players—many of whom can be quite entertaining. Dealers help explain the games and answer any of our players’ questions. Ultimately, the Dealer is the one who runs the show! They make sure that the players are happy, that the games run smoothly and that everything abides by the house rules.
So, what does it take to be a successful Table Games Dealer at Riverwalk? The most important requirement is simply being a good people person. We love hiring friendly, positive folks! (That’s also why new Dealers will find that so many of their coworkers are great to be around.)
